What is the V-12? Jag/BMWMBZ....none of those in the '60's.... Looks OHV? Sure a lot of tiny little intake thingies.....Who has good eyes?

I dont THINK its a Jag... aren't they 90º engines? Could be the largest collection of DeLortos? (sp) in captivity at that time. I wonder how it ran???

 

Ford flathead with aftermarket heads and intake.

The guy was racing in a class that only allowed flatheads, inline six and inline eight cylinder engines.

Now you know as much as anyone else about the reason WHY.

 

...Health Inspector Bob just had a hard time swallowing a rat turd from a complimentary malted, thus relinquishing a clean bill of health for Eat at Joe's Restaurant.

 

A 292 six would have been much less work and a good bit faster.
