I don't think it's a Jag. A little bit off the subject in the late 50's early 60's a buddy of mine was an apprentice at the machine tool company Archdales at that time the company was working on the machine tools to produce the V12 Jag engine. That's how long it took to develop the engine for production

  11. Thanks, Johnny, now i recall why i joined the Navy, the navyguys always had the coolest slacks, shirts, caps etc! i served the german navy on a submarine for sev. years, we sub guys didn't have to greet in the formal way or shave our pale faces.. not bad conditions for a 20plus year ole fellow! hands in the pockets and stroll down to damn uboat-harbor, had a great time!

  12. a nice remake from i think the 90's starring Alec Baldwin! seen it lots a times, simply great, esp. the Cord 810 as taxi, nice driving skills and sounds! not to forget he's nearly been driven over by a 41 Poncho at the end when only he can see the non-existing hotel.. Penelope Ann Miller is such a devil woman and Tim Curry isn't bad either!

I had an XKE V12 and looks the same to me. The narrow valve covers look the same. No rocker arms. It was a 60 degree V12. The dist was in the center of the valley. I wish I could tell on the photo.

Channel 12 in Richmond, VA had Sailor Bob from 1959 to 1969. He showed Popeye cartoons and sketched live on the air. I got to see him a couple of times in person.
