misused discriptions that irritate or annoy you

What happened to the pony rides? The best one for me is have extra parts. Or all parts in car. Its complete car.you get there and its in a hundred parts.

 

"Restored", when referring to a car that has has a drive train swap (like a SBC into a Pontiac, Olds or Buick), color changes, aftermarket wheels, etc. To me, "restored" means "return to an as-built state", like it looks as it sat on the dealer's lot or in the show room, NOT modified!

 

Sorry Carl I am hooked on phonics, but I will try and be more sensative to your needs in the future.

 

All original, when it's been restored, matching numbers...except for the engine, one owner, when they bought it from someone, and people who spell Camaro...Camero!

 

This thread has been a very long annoying and irritating misuse of discriptions misused and mispelled in more ways than a few. Here's a better idea for an add.

this drives me nuts, and I see it in the magazines quite often, calling a newely built Hot Rod "Restored", I also see it in ads where the car is definitely not restored, it's just painted... or washed...
