My son and I just got back from our 1st but not our last G***er Reunion at
Beaver Springs Dragway. What a great time and the people were all very friendly. I would like to send out a big thank you to every one that worked there this week end. I cant remember ever going to a car event and seeing it go so smooth. The food was very good and reasonably priced and the ice cream was to die for.
Pics to come later with my I phone

Did you tell him that was a woman driving that car ? Lisa Kresman at the wheel there and her husband Brian both are great racers and people.

He did see her driving around in the pits.
On the far side of her was Rick and he got to sit in his truck. Ricks wife gave him the T shirt he has on
    In the pic

My little big shot... He got to help drag the car to the line and tow it back the return line. He almost lost the time slip on the way back.
I looked at them and said you let a 8 year old be in charge of keeping it save.

A big thank you to Beaver Bob for giving Rylan a ride in his car. Letting him shift the gears and going out on the track and burning up the tires 1st and 2nd gear.

My favorite car of the week end.
The biggest burn outs picking the wheels up a bit and just beating the **** out of it the hole weekend. I never got and good pics of it doing its thing but here it is resting

Thanks for letting Rylan take it for the test drive. He pulled a better wheelstand than I ever did. It was good to meet you guys, and hope to catch up with you again. Goodguys at the Big E nest week???

My photos from the show, enjoy!!!

Nice pics bcchopit & sgt grumpy. We had a blast. I was REAL PISSED today after I spent 3 1/2 hours unsuccessfully trying to fix my electrical gremlin so I could race today. At least I now know what to fix to be ready for Atco this sunday.

I hope to be up there. I might have both boys and that can be a hand full for a high dollar show. Most of the time my 5 year old only last about 2-3 hours

thanks for the link to your pics you did a much nicer job

We got home around 2:30 this afternoon. Had a fantastic time as usual. A very good turn out and alot of good racing. Sorry i didn't take a camera with me this year. Got to spend some time with Don Moyer and watch the Reaper run. Can't wait for next year.

We left about 2 on Sunday so I could get home for Rylan to get ready for school plus he was HOT and ready to go. He fell a sleep in less then 5 min. I had to wake him on 81 for a bathroom break. The plain was to only go for Sat. But he didn't want to go home so we stayed the night and added to the fun

For me the best part of the weekend was to catch Fred Bear behind the wheel
of the K.S. Pittman willys. AWESOME! What a great bunch of cars in the
    Ellershaw & Pirrone stable.

Freddy Bear is one of the best drivers out there. He was pretty bummed that he didn't make it to the final round.

Wanda, It was good to meet you and put a face to a name. I wish we could have made a little more noise to join in the fun but we expected growing pains. Even with a bad leg that crew kept you hopping all weekend. Wishing good luck for Larry this week. See ya at the next big digs.

    John and Aaron,
It was great meeting you and getting to see your car. Sorry that you had the trouble. There isn't much that will keep me down at a race track. Thank you for the good wishes for larry. You two are great:D

Sorry I never learned to keep my mouth shut and I know I will get flak for this, but Sunday ****ed. Why did Beaver Bob have to load the Nost Gas cl*** up with cars that were not even close to g***ers? I know some will say if you don't like it go home, well thats what I did. I can't wait for the meltdown drags were the parasites and posers won't get in the gate.

gotta agree. And then when the English brothers lined up against each other(I'm sure it was their miscalculation) he let one of them pull back.

I had a great time Sunday. I do have to admit that I lost all respect for the English Brothers. No cl***.
