looking to pick this up for acouple parts but was wondering if i might be able to recoop my loss. whats your thoughts? any interest?
Is the only thing wrong with the frame the bobbed horns? No rot or tweaks? If so I'd say that thing parted out is around 1500-2k. If it has a matching ***le the price goes up
I see $750.00 or more in parts not including the frame. I would think the bare frame is worth between 2 to 5 hundred, maybe abit more if someone really needs one.
I just sold a nice frame for 550.00 , had it listed for 800 then 700 no takers in my area, rear end is about 100 to 250, front axle is about 100, wishbone 250.00, but then again I buy high and sell low. Dave
Had one nearly identical to it about 2 years ago, except the rear frame horns were bobbed instead of the front. Had no trouble getting a grand for it. I probably could have gotten more if I waited, but I took the easy money.
I got a question that may affect the value. How much of it are you planning to sell? For example just the frame and absolutly no other pieces as in completely stripped, or partial roller either the front end and spring intact or rear end and spring intact or???
It along with acouple other front/rear axle ***emblies are the full lot. the axles are 35/36 and 38. i came acrost this by sheer luck and dont want to just leave it. the only part i plan to keep my self are he wishbones off the 33 34. i have another set but are not as good. so everything else will be sold as is or parted out which ever goes first. i did a search for the value of the 33 34 frame but for the most part all that i found was alittle out of date. i know that new rails cost 700 so one would think thats a good guide to price, but the demand is what really sets the price and thats what i was curious about. this is all good stuff that doesnt need to go to the s**** but i have to get my money out of it. appreciate the info fellas and if anyone is interested let me know.
It would seem like as many fellas that have bought just the body here lately someone would want it. Sounds like you are pretty much selling a roller and that makes it worth more to some fellas.
thought i would follow up with some pictures for the thread and the couple guys who pm'd me interested in it. this is the worst of it besides the bobbed horns. but should be an easy fix
