  1. Tuckerfan, thanks for another memory, Hawaii 5-O ran a long time on one of our channels, loved it for Steve McGarett always had a cool expression in his eyes.. always calmed right, thinking of some influences on my hairstyle, there were times we looked a bit similar. needless to say that both of my sisters melted downright through the cushions for him...;)

btw, i love how passioned you enjoying even the least detail about those fabulous Tuckers..you're the best-equipped database about these imho!

  3. ..the Philips mignon auto 45rpm-player (had one, fancy entertainment esp. in 50's microcars), the car is a Ford 12M, german counterpart to the shoeboxes, looking a bit similar, but smaller, for sure. these cars are rare today and hard to restore for there is not a spare part on market, even the expendable parts are not available. much more seldom are the converts for have being hand made by several coachbuilders, an official release pic:

The scene of an accident in 1935. Information with the photo reveals a car stolen by joyriding children crashed into a lawyer's car, killing him

Even public servants weren't immune to accidents. An early mail truck came out loser in this battle with a tree on the tree-lined Commercial Avenue, Boston

Couple years ago computer (actually Windoze) threw a tantrum. Threw away everything Micro$oft-related and moved to Linux. Everything is legally free, not a virus ever again and same computer works a lot better. No regrets, and not coming back.

This photo was taken on Alford St., on the Charlestown (Boston)/Everett line. The Alford St. drawbridge is in the distance, looking towards Sullivan Sq. in Charlestown.

first pick to play Ginger?;) Pictured are Louise, Dawn Wells and Natalie Schaefer.

Okay, okay! BUT, I was too uneducated to know the difference between a View Master and a Kaleidoscope, I'd have you know.:( Us nippers couldn't attend skool due to our poor situation. After all, we were living in a box in the middle of the road! :eek:Sniff.
