So your going to actually build it. But no clue how or what parts to use? I imagine that would be a very difficult build... even for someone who knew exactly what to do.

I would think having a "donor car" would be a good starting point!!!!

I did not change the lower part of the car much at all I think the wood just kinda makes it look that way,

not sure what would be a good roof for that. I think no matter what ya used will be a ton of work. 60 ford wagon might be a good start?

Mrs. Cheese and I have agreed to get one of these at some point. We'll probably leave it stockish and lower it a bit, but I'm curious to know what you fellows would do with it:

    Thanks!

Guys, I wanted to let you know that the photoshop work you do does not go without notice or incorporation. A few months back I asked the group to photoshop some wheels onto my 1951 chevy

well after several months in the shop getting a V8 installed, new 12 volt electrical and setting up the rear susp (relocating springs, building new inner fenders) I can say I have brought the photoshopped pictured above to life. I still need to get it lower (closer to the photoshop picture) but that will require more susp work and money (so that will wait until next winter) when I add a MII front and will now 4 link the rear to get it lower....

Here is where I am today.

looking at the dual engine 57 above I can see a vintage looking rail. take body from the winshield back and add it to a tube dragster chassis. that short door bubble roof is a cool look with some bigger drag tires.

That looks really cool! No doubt your car is gonna look great when you're done!
While I didn't submit anything myself on your car I appreciate your acknowledgement of the the effort put forth by the guys who did. Sometimes we put lots of hours into someones idea but don't get any feedback on it, don't know if the original poster didn't see our work or thought it sucks. Hell I'd like to know either way, if nothing more than to improve on the effort. I raise my Longboard Lager to you! Eli

Since you said "stockish," I kept it as a mild kustom:
Lowered, shaved the handles, extended the rear quarter and skirt downward. Removed the hood ornament and added '56 Merc eyebrows over the lamps. Then filled in the roof rear, but no chop.

Hey, could someone give me a pagan gold, a root beer brown, and a dark chocolate brown paint job please? (seperate ones) Im kinda handy with PS but my color layers keep looking like crapola.
Looking to paint soon, but hung on a color. My earlier post shows the dash and firewall is root beer with metallic. Im looking for something thats going to jive with it.

    Thanks!!!!

  30. I don't know if this is a Pagan Gold, but it's ungodly looking.
