Just picked up a new issue off the rack at B&N a week or so ago. Read it and loaned it ot so I don't have what they put on it for an issue number or time handy. Article on S.C.O.T [and the different variations of] blowers, learned a lot from it. Ed bubba67 types faster than I can!
Does anyone have information on subscriptions for this publication? I've tried to find out where to buy Street Rodder Premium off the rack, or how to subscribe, and havn't had any luck.
Thanks for the info---Went searching today and found it. I really miss BORDERS book stores, they were local and had every thing. Thanks BILL
Response from the Associate Publisher - "Newsstand only, no subs." He is trying to get me a list of newsstand places.
No, it is a only a few times per year publication so it would be tough to do subs, and yes it is a higher quality mag, more in depth, better paper etc.
Some of the subject matter may be a little OT for the HAMB but still a very good publication with great photography and good quality paper. Roo
No reason a quarterly can't have subscriptions, even something as silly as Mad Magazine was down to that for a while and they'll sell you one.
That's the thing though. I don't think it is quarterly, a little more random than that from what I've seen.
Issues of The Rodder's Journal are published very randomly. IIRC it was available only by subscription at the start, took awhile before it started showing up on the newstand/bookstore racks. Ed
Thumbed through the current issue the other day, nice feature on the SCOT blowers. I think I bought the first issue when it came out, what is the total produced so far? Bob
I passed on 1 [first one I had seen I think] and picked up at least 2 more so at least 3. My latest one is still loaned out, any sequence numbers buried in the fine print anywhere? Ed
Kinda sounds like the "schedule"of the now demised Garage Magazine, At least they have Street Rodder as their backup, both good rags, IMO
OK--I stand corrected I've got (seen) the one with the dark blue 39 on the cover and the La Salle on the cover--- What is on the cover (other than the current one) of the one I dont know about? BILL
