It was a nice sunny day today so we rolled out the projects for some pictures. I've been promising to post pics of the New Yorker after we got those ugly mags off. Here it is. The metallic green looks amazing in the sun ..Too bad the picture cant show it clearly. This was our first attempt at a nice paint job, and although it has a few issues , We're real happy with it. We also rolled out the bellytank to get it prepped for a show this coming weekend. We thought it all looked pretty cool outside the new Strange Days shop. We really felt that all our hard work was starting to pay off!
Awesome!! I'm glad the Chrysler has seen the light of day and it looks great! Do you need me to mail you some lowering blocks?? That's the first I've seen of the streamliner, what's the story there? It looks great too. Good job on both and congrats on the rewards for all that hard work.
The rear sits high, but I'm pretty sure that's stock. The springs dont look to be re-arched. That said, I think it'd look better down about two inches in the rear. The front is fine as far as I'm concerned. I'm not a fan of " in the weeds ." The Chrysler has been an interesting project. I'm only in it 1,170 dollars. I think its gonna take about 3 to 4 grand to do the interior though. We're torn between stock and white rolls and pleats.
Wow, what a cool pair-o-machines. Like Danny (gotgas), I have a MoPar fetish. My unasked opinion on the interior would be original style, since you didn't ask. The shop is way awesome as well, thanx for sharing these with us. ~sololobo~
You know I feel certain cars look meaner with a rake. The more I look at that Chrysler and the way it sets the more I feel it's one of those "certain cars." It's bad ***, and we all know one simply has to be bad ***. Paul
