So i got this old coupe off Invisable kid here on the hamb. That was about a year ago, well i tore it down last fall/winter. Then started on the chassis in February, now it drives around my test track. I still need a few things before i drive it on the street. Lots of decisions to make. Well enough talk heres some pics.

heres a few more. the seat came from begels, (metaltwister). The frame is from blackboard customs, the headers are geardrive, the radiator is brassworks. found the super t-10 off c-list rebuilt with new clutch flywheel PP and shifter. I had the rearend from a used up racecar i got for free, san diego gear and axle set it up for me. Engine is from a jeep i had as a teenager and bought back so i could put the motor in this.

I cant decide. Maybe silver, or maroon, or maybe ill just go with black. I need to at least decide on a upholstery design and color that'll match whatever i decide. I figured id drive it for the summer then paint it. But i gotta sit in it to drive it.

Yes im looking for a 3x2 set up. But i wanna drive this thing so seat upholstery and tires first.

Did i mention that the small block is phase 1. Phase 2 is the 392 hemi thats in the shed. The SBC is a 300 horse 327 from 1967. Its probably a corvette like the rest of them even though the numbers say it could have been in some other cars.

Thanks again for this car. I thought about doing the green again. Whats weird is the grill shell and headlights i found separately where both almost the same color as the body.

Man i got a lot of hours in that firewall. I felt a little bad grinding that green paint off. It was over what looked like the original paint. Except the driver door which had like 7 different colors.

well i finally picked a color and after 3 months in the body shop, it finally got painted. Should have it back next week after the wet sanding and buffing. I think picking out a color is the hardest decision i have ever made, and im still not entirely sold on it.

I think your color choice is great !! Black cars look great but there is alot of them. Same with silver.. You chose good. That will be a hell of a nice car

Now that its maroon, White wheels, seat, top insert would look kickass. One two or all.
