Folks Of Interest O/T Boogie Woogie Bugle boy ?,... They had nothing on this !!!

I think a lot about the early days of Hot Rodding,... WWII and the greatest generation,... the 1940's,... They had it all,.. Hot Rodding, Aviation, Industrialization, Innovation, Advances in all realms of life including music & entertainment.

I love the big band sound and Boogie Woogie,... The Andrew sisters were fantastic,... But they had nothing on the Ross Sisters !,.... I can't imagine any Young Hot Rodder or red blooded American boy not going totally haywire over this....

They just sing up to the 1:00 mark,... then watch what happens ! ( I know this is OT with just a thin tie in to Hot Rod roots, so if it must be deleted,.. it must. But this is TOTALLY AMAZING!) Enjoy......

The birth of hot rods, lindy, boogie, Miller, Goodman, the greatest generation, sandlot baseball, coke bottles shaped like coke bottles, radio, abstinence etc.. simpler times? maybe...

But then again: racism, dying from now curable illnesses, abstinence, etc ..

...everytime has it's pluses and minuses.

 

I believe that is "Balboa" dancing,..and one of my all time favorite 1940's Hot Rodder's Henry "Hank" Negley was reported to be one of the best back in the day !

Can you imagine this young Hot Rodder pulling up to the Dance hall in his Purple Deuce Roadster,... With his best gal and "cutt'in the rug" like that !
