I had a '58 MGA that I'd driven to death, stuck it under a tarp and was going to fix-er-up one day. Decided to build a V8-60 powered T-Bucket instead, so I sold it (rust and all) to a guy at the Pomona swap.
Couple of years later I got a letter from a gentleman in Holland with this picture in it.

I like the wagon a bunch. While I'm not a big Covette fan that is a real waste of that one.

what impresses me about the old cars even the neglected ones is the quality of the chrome plaiting ive been told they used a high nickel content n the chrome and that is what made it last so long

    Saw this '57 150 Army 4-door on C-list today...

Too bad - it's be cool to save, if it just had the ARMY logos and "patrina"...but the driver's side shows (no) rocker panel at all,
so I can't imagine what's left of the floors.

Perfect for this thread though. Hope he gets the $ he wants for it.

A rare 57 Ford Ranch Wagon sitting and rotting two blocks from my house, Fords answer to the Chevy Nomad. A shame to see it just sittin there!! I may see if the landowner wants to sell it.

Here's a 57 Ford Ranch Wagon that needs a little less work...
Note on the doors that this was the track service car for Paradise Dragstrip in Calhoun Ga.
You wouldn't believe the old muscle cars in the woods just on the west of the track property where this car is.
The 57 is setting on top of a 69 Buick Skylark 2 dr hard top, there are 66 GTO's, 68-9 Chevelles, 68-9 Road Runners, 55-7 Chevys, a 70 green Boss 302 Mustang, 64 Impala SS, 70 428CJ Cyclone.... the list goes on.
I've never seen so many muscle cars just going to pot.
Otto Timms owned the track and all of the old cars but Otto passed away a little while back... The good thing is I hear the family will sell them.

Here are a few more pictures of just a few of many old cars laying in the weeds at Paradise Dragstrip
Take a look at the photo of the junk pile, we found a two four manifold just laying there and an old roll bar out of some old vintage drag car

As far as I know the 55 wagon still there, I was told there was a lot of parts for it in a shed.... the enclosed trailer in the background of a few of the pictures has a turn key Vega funny car in it.

Do you think they might part ways with the wagon? I would be very interested in it, what state are you and it in?

I was told everything there can be bought...
The wagon and the other cars pictured plus many more projects are all on the property at Paradise Dragstrip in Calhoun Georgia
I had a match race with my Funny Car there a few years ago.... we got there early, the track owner Otto Timms told me to go look around, he said he would sell me anything I wanted.
Otto passed away a little while back and now his son and daughter have the place and I heard they were selling stuff off.
Some of the stuff is decent some pretty rough... I actually thought the wagon wasn't really all that bad considering they make anything you would need for it.

There is several Chevelles there, even look above the 57 Ford wagon you'll see the roof line of another one
You would have to contact the track and talk to one of the owners, They were real nice people when we were there.

That 69 Chevelle would be a good project car, note it has the SS hood, I'm not 100% sure if the car was an actuall SS or not.
