Rob Lee Kills Lincoln

    Oh man,Rob blew up the Lincoln in his little red roadster :eek: after 4 years of thrashing it like he stole it. :eek: This could start a war,:eek: I sold him that motor, :eek:Hope he doesn't want his money back.:confused:

    Turns out just dropped a intake valve,I'll be back on the road in no time. I have no problem build it ,beat it,fix it and repeat! Rob

    Well took the heads off , not so good.The valve ate the piston ,the only thing left was the wrist pin.On to plan b,actually have another lincoln y laying around so motor swap and back on the road.Thanks for the encouragement guys,Rob

  23. Check the cylinders... the last engine I saw where a valve dropped and put a hole in the piston tweaked itself inside the cylinder and fractured the cylinder.

    We couldn't see the fracture until we magnafluxed the engine after we bored the cylinders!

    I know... I know... never do engine work until you magnaflux the engine!

    Is there a 'Like' ****on for Rob's response re. SBC? Just another reason to keep a few 'spares' handy, though...
