I'm trying to get a 62 falcon g***er together to drive to the hot rod reunion in bowling green. Its going to be a challenge. I will post some pics as soon as I upload them.

Count me in, this is the '56 I'm working on. If anyone recognizes this car or may have some past history let me know.
    Thanks

Not quite a G***er but, here is my '65 Plymouth Valiant with '56 354 Chrysler HEMI, kinda has a '60's drag car inspired spirit. Love seeing all these old drag cars, Thanks Brian and Gordy

Lotsa times guys would take the hood or fenders off to run in the Altered cl*** 'cause there was too much compe***ion in the Gas cl***. Cars that don't have fenders or front ends...even with straight axles are NOT G***ERS!

Main reason for taking the frontend offf a g***er was not to avoid compe***ion, but rather to get more compe***ion! They wanted to run their cars in both cl***es and hopefully bring home more winnings by placing in both cl***es.
Occasionally their car would not meet tech for a certain gas cl*** and they would remove it to run altered where it would meet the rules.

i am building an off topic g***er, but its still a g***er style car, enjoying the work and the look, cant wait to terrorise the streets in a g***er again. first g***er was a 63 duece, econoline beam narrowed 6", sat a mile high and ****ed to drive on windy days, but i sure do miss the ol' gal.
