Personally i think it is defamotary to use one`s national flag as decoration....it cheapens it in my eyes.Our Union flag is seen everywhere on clothes,bags and advertising etc, I`ve just got back from a holiday in Italy and kids are wearing it on T shirts and bags but I bet they don`t even know it is the national flag of the greatest country on earth....I suppose that like the stars and stripes it stands out amongst a sea of "bar code" flags, and as such is more attractive.

 

Sure, some people use it as a decoration and don't think much about it but others use it as a decoration to show true, strong patriotism.

Remember this is a "picture" thread.

As to the Stars and Stries on my car... Showing our colors is why I painted it on there. Those of other nationalities can stuff it if they don't like it!
