i picked up this antique tag a long. i was going to sell it, but i made brackets, buffed it out and will get a tag and new lites tommorrow. what do you guys think?
with the single wheel, it follows the track of the truck, forward or backwards. it weighs around 70 lb, and is rated to haul 220 lb. thats how much crap my wife takes when we go off. i can get my stuff in a cigar box and still have room.
Imagine that, He found one the same color.........cool little trailer. What does the hitch look like?
the hitch was missing, so after studying it for a while, i took 2 pieces of 2" angle, drilled 2 holes in each. one of them bolts to the bumper thru the inside bracket holes, using the bumper bolts, the other to the existing holes in the frame where it is designed to connect. the frame is made out of aluminum. the mfg. tag on it says it was made in venice, ca. the best i can tell it was made in the late 50s. i remember these as a kid behind folks cars on vacation. it has a 5" wheel and tire that is hwy rated, but no one makes one. i am going to adapt a 8" boat trailer tire and wheel to it which is hwy rated. i towed it down the road and it justs floats along. i may have to put a bycicle flag on it so i can see it. had an extra hamb tag topper and added it to the center.
You mean there is not enough room to haul all your stuff in the pickup bed? So you need a Tag Along? Just an opinion, but you must take too much stuff with you.
if you have a wife and she goes with you, the bed sometimes is not enough, besides, like a lot of other things ,its different
that's cool as hell, the way it's styled without fenders would look goodbehind an old fleetside, but hey I dig it anyway very cool
Is that a Coffman trailer? This site has a few of them if it is. http://www.singlewheel.com/Auto/CoffmanFR.htm
you want the top white, it keeps things inside alot cooler on a long road trip...its white from the factory for that reason
