Take back Central AZ

I was telling a Buddy that used to live here about us guys meeting up on Central again, he goes wow that is so cool and plans to bring his car over form California just for a Saturday night cruise. Bringing back Central is a real passionate thing for me, as it probably is for some of you guys that used to love Central back then. I have meet some really cool new car guys up there, That is what Central was all about.

I'll be heading downtown this weekend to collect birthday gifts, so we'll see you guys down there around 7p.

Oh yeah... I sorted out the cooling issue with the truck last weekend so maybe this time I'll actually "go-cruisin"!

 

It sure is great looking forward to Saturday night again, it has me working on my 65 Belvedere real hard. I think it is still about 4 months out, it will be nice to get in and fire it up again that is for sure

 

Looking forward to Saturday night even though it might be warm, its no different than it was back then. I really like going up and seeing people stopping and talking and making friends all good. Hope to see a bunch of people up there.

Ya, a bit better today. We must still be dealing with some fire smoke down here. Funny thing, you could literally "see" the air in front of you in LA last weekend, and I didn't have problem #1... Get back to the desert, weaser city! Sucks!

 

Glad to here that you are feeling better, it was a lite turn out maybe better next week ( hopefully ). There was a 1966 SS Chevelle that has never been there before, so we are still getting the word out. You take care of yourself and see you next Saturday.

I'm not going to make it the next 2 weeks. Going on vacation to Pismo Beach area and racing at the Santa Margarita Time Trials. You guys have a great time.

Nice car! I wish you had those out here, you could help with the movement of taking back or Cruising spot. Thanks for the encouragement its going to be a long road but we are up to the challenge.

hey guys, Just found out about this and will come out this sat. I live like a mile away. I was actually cruising on my own a month ago and got mixed up in a train of trucks and cars headed to mcdonalds.

Used to work evenings at the Chevron on the S/W corner of central & camelback back in high school. Class of 73 from Central high.
