Junkman, welcome to the HAMB. I saw the '58, but was more interested in the splitwindow Beetles and barndoor bus. Thanks for posting.

  5. Welcome from me too, but don't forget to make your intro on the introduction area!

  6. Isn't this the Impala SS? Like they had the Pontiac 2+2s? I didn't know how to copy the photo over. My bad. #49050.

Ingenuity leads to innovation. Restraints and other safety equipment have to be inspected and certified in some applications, annually these days. Tom S. in Tn.

All those old buses were taken off the roads of Malta last year. I think they have been replaced with modern Chinese stuff. I bet they won't last as long as the old ones, some of them were over 65 years old. In the late 1940 about 75% of the Maltese bus fleet was built on North American made ex British military vehicles.

In theory we can be hung in the U.K. for clebrating American Independance Day (although a great many of the American car fraternity take a chance and celebrate). After we lost the War of Independance King George made celebrating Independance Day a treasonable offence. Treason is the only offence that still carries the death penalty

Please excuse the interruption....that's just an Impala and the SS is no different except for trim.
