yeah thats what im talking about those are all cool

  7. Google search 1931, '32 or '33 Studebaker for odd shaped lights, also 1932 Packards. Woodlites are another odd one. 1928 Chryslers for bullet shapes

Many upmarket cars of the 1928/1930 era have big impressive lights, even the basic Studebaker dictator of 1928/9 has 11" lights.

The Bauch and Lomb drum lights used on the Springfield Rolls-Royces are worth a look.

    Damn those E&J's are sweet!

  21. Uh I got dope, I'll be right over. :D

I got a pair of King Bees in the garage, maybe I'll snap a pic later when I am out working. ( by the way I need tags for my king bees if someone has a pair ;))

Here is a pair of Aux lights made by autoradiator mfg. They were sold through the dealer circa '36. They can be found mounted on my mildly OT parts hauler. Here http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=8550&pictureid=294429 Don't want to post the truck on the main board.

Those are very nice looking. Are they hard to find? Super expensive? Gary

I have a soft spot for old headlights. Here are my 682-C's, right before I mounted them. Hot Rod Jen striped them for me.

Another item of interest, which might be a rare original combination, are these 682-J headlights with faceted lens pod parking lights. I've seen the pods before, mainly on Arrow headlights, but never on Guide headlights. I'm pretty sure they weren't something someone made up along the line, because the curvature of the pods & the rubber mounting gasket all fit perfectly on top of the bucket. There are also no br*** tags or evidence of ones on the buckets, but the headlights are identical to 682-J's. If anyone has any insight into this, I'd appreciate hearing it. Here's a pic of one of the buckets (take note to the shiny black paint where the pod sat) & the restored pods. I didn't get to the buckets yet.

Here's a pic of what I think may be an Arrow headlight, with a faceted pod.
