Surprisingly, the weather was cooperating and it wasn't too hot. A lot of people showed up in their daily drivers so the crowd was huge. The Hot Rod Trio was in attendance and always put on a good show.

At Xmas, he puts antlers on the horse and dresses like Santa. I asked him if he drove it down the freeway. He said no, he only goes 28 mph. He also rides a replica top fuel bike, with a blown Honda 750 motor, on the street.

Looks like a great show. Next time you go to Moon run into that burger joint in the lot next door and try one of their orange malt drinks.

I believe I recognize the red pickup. It was featured in R&C? years ago. Built by a father and son team. They built it to be as lightweight as possible. I think they made the bed from aluminum. They still went over their target weight, but ended up with a pretty nice, LOW, chopped, channeled and sectioned truck.

I should have took a picture of the interior. The pedal arraignment was odd and the trans really intrudes on interior space. You need really small feet to work the pedals. :D

That is a cool truck^^^^^ and looks well built from here, but I think I would leave that front bumper hanging in the rafters.
