My friend Dave finished his 1/16 scratchbuilt Dragmaster http://www.p40warhawk.com/My_Stuff/Dragmaster_IV/Dragmaster_IV.htm
I agree.......very nice......here is a tip for some headers.....I have been using white wire from romex electric wire as it is solid copper with the white vinyl coating to construct fenderwell headers....I use a brake ferrell for the collector as it has the perfect flare.
Here are three Ford Flathead engines. From left to right--1936, 1939, 1949 AMT 1/25 scale Ford Kits. The black primer body is Monogram's 1/24 1937 Ford Tudor kit. I am going to assemble this kit as a stock example using AMT 1936 wheels and a modified version of AMT's 1936 flathead. Lately I have been distracted by a 1/1 scale 1937 Ford Fordor steel kit by FoMoCo.
WOW... super nice build. Where did he get the Mighty Mouse decals? Or did he make them? And... can I get some!!! Gary
Wow, great rail and the stuff from both shows/meets. I finally jumped back in the saddle after a move and setting up my motorcycle shop at my new house. I'll take some pics later today of the 49 merc that is almost done.
Exactly. 30 years ago I spent hours, days, weeks to get a model right. Not so much anymore. Congrats on sticking with it. That car is beautiful.
Not much done this week, we got 2 new puppies. Here's some older stuff-I can't take credit for the orange truck, I bought it at a hobbyshop rummage. The caes is just a fraction of my addiction
We have TWO threads going here on the same topic, do we have a smart mod that can join them together ? Cheers Rod
I like that Chev Tow Truck, I don't think I would ever have thought to add the cut up tyre to the front of the push bar. Cool. Slingshot, you mate does outstanding work, very impressive! Would you know if he is interested in selling or trading for some of his cast work? Would love to get those wheel/tyres and QC, blower set up and the steering box, basically any of the 16th scale components!! Doc.
