A customer is running a later year boxy model S10 frame and stock 2 piece driveshaft. I need a local resource where I can buy Spicer stuff etc.

    Thanks locals. :)

Dick's Drive Shaft does good work, although I think they've changed ownership since I last used them.

Dick's is at about 28th street and Mcdowell on the north side. Dick had sold a small portion of his business to some other folks and closed about 6 years ago to retire, and found that those folks were trading on his name improperly, got bored with retirment and reopened... Thank God he did!

Sounds like that's the kind of guy I'm looking for.
Thank you for clarifying the location; it looks like I'll hit the location you called out instead of the other one that comes up by searching.

I talked my customer into more parts that aren't bad yet (but have known high miles) so I'll be sure and rightfully pay for the chewing.

When Dick retired and the the service at Dick's Driveline went into decline while the prices shot up, I started taking my driveline business to Phoenix Rack and Axle (32nd st. south of the 202). They do good, quick work at a reasonable price. They've done 4 drivelines for me and I am happy with all of them.

I didn't know that Dick came out of retirement and re-opened, good news.

Mike, I think that's who bought him out.

I stopped by the 2750 McDowell location and got good service. He's living retirement on his own terms and I'll use his service again.

    Thanks guys.
