    Hi Jay,
The body work is really coming around. I like it..............Mike

  8. It feels like I'm getting somewhere. Somewhere I 'want' to be, rather! Thanks Mike!

  9. Blocking the psngr side of the 59, an also the 58 Chair. And to get away from the monotony, I went back to bringing up the low spots on the 30 rdstr drs. Ain't nothin' but time..

Still lots more to do.. lots!

  10. Blocking the high spots, prepping for 'black'

  11. Made a mickey mouse crate, now I need some thick plastic. Add vinegar & molasses so it can sit and start de-rusting!

Turn one around so they "spoon" that way they won't be up against the walls so much, or one of them won't.

  13. I will try that. I need to get the hinges off the the one door. It could make things a little easier

  14. So I finally went and picked up the other Elco/2dr wgn quarter mldg, today. I just about stole it, when it comes to price. The seller wanted more for it, once it came time to do business. Glad I waited.. it's not perfect, but it's far from fucked up! The mldg on the left is for a 2dr Bel Air, it's almost an inch an a half longer.

    More of the same..

  15. So I blocked the psngr side again. The pics are so deceiving, that's the only reason I posted. Ready to be primed, guide coated and blocked.. one last and final time!

    Tell Sig,
That was the best spin dizzy ever! Can't believe that you guys got the shots!
Now all he has to do is spin out @ Muroc if they ever let us run there again, then he'd be a full fledged member of "The Spin Out Club".
Great job on the 59 Elco! Not to mention the doors for the roadster.
    Man, That's sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  18. I hope to have this thing painted soon.. I mean soon! And thanks Doc!

It was actually Jim Kitchen(Stan Back here on the HAMB) that spun! Sig is an assoc mbr of Berdoo Rdstrs, though! Stan won't even friend me on 'Landracing' or here on the HAMB. Jeesh, an I'm his crew chief! Wow.. Anyways- He's spun at Bonneville, too! He can explain the sound the tires make, sliding on salt and screeching on the dirt. I'm learning soooo much! Thanks Kev

  24. I gotta get up allot earlier, from now on. Losing to much time, to this heat!

  25. That's a neat Ol school sign, too!

  27. Made it to ElMir today.. barely! The fuel filter is partially blocked/clogged, barely feeding the 350 pig under the hood! Had a great time, Mike Ferguson ran a 186 and the temperature was almost nice!

Using the panoramic mode in my phone, which I just learned it had..

But on the way home, I just shut it off & called AAA to come pick my ass up. Took a pic while I waited

Well, I hope your not still waiting. The tech in those phones is amazing.

Glad to see all the updates on stuff you are doing. The loveseat looks a little cozy. Are you putting a 'Studie' in the '59? Or just having fun with the valve covers?

I wished I could have made it to a Pomona this year. Great shopping.
