    Hi Cutlassboy68,

Sorry i didn't think to say when i posted the picture up, they are not straps they are black ribbons. "Crazy Dave" who owns it does actualy use it for funerals, mainly for rod related people although anyone can hire it if they want to.

    Cheers.

    Hi Guys,

Many thanks for the compliements on the pictures, i have got lots more old british tin to wet your appetites. If you need to know makes and models, just ask i will help out where i can. I forget that quite a few of our cars are probably alien to you as many of the American cars will be to me.

A few more from Buntingford 2011.

    Hi Felix,

That one belongs to my mate Jon Gumble, it is basicaly stock, although it has got banded steels on it and i think lowered a little, it did have a Raymond Mays conversion going on to it.

That Zephyr MK1 is one of if not the cleanest straightest one in this country, it was parked in a museum for a long time so is low mileage aswell.

    Cheers.

My point is , fine Sports cars and hot rods aren't limited to whats going on here in America . Hot rodding is a WORLD WIDE Event , go for it !!!

    Thanks for the pics -

Always had a lot of respect for you 'overseas' hot rodders - difficulty and expense getting parts, taxes, licensing and registration, roads and garages designed for smaller cars, etc.

    Kudos...

A slightly different cultural flavor of rods from the other side of the pond is cool to me.

    Nicely done.

The british weather was doing it's best to spoil the party, although there was no 1/4 mile action until very late on in the day it didn't stop the nostalgic stock cars from going out to play. Unfortunately i didn't get any action shots this year but i have got some from last year that i can post up at a later date.

    Hi Bill,

Will try to make the next meet if i can, things have been a bit full on over the last couple of months.

Just getting ready to go to the Silverstone Classic tomorrow, if last year is anything to go by it should be a good weekend. Reputedly it is the biggest Classic car show in the world.

    Cheers.

Very cool! i bet there are more than a few M.O.T officers scratching their head with some of those :D
And no road tax! i belong to a club based out of the U.K & they are shocked to see what 'we' (North America) consider junk or far gone to fix,
    Thanks for sharing those!

  27. Russ,
Good to see you have found a new home for your vast collection of pics.

    Hi Charlie,

Long time no see/hear, how are you doing ? I take it you still havn't moved down to East Anglia yet ?

Yep i am just going to post up my Rod, Custom and Nostalgia type pics on here as they seem to be being well received.

I managed to get the majority of my pics back although he has still got 11,000 of them but i am still fighting to get them back aswell however these goverment departments seem to work at a snails pace.

Anyway need to post up a few more now, hope to catch up with you soon.

    Cheers.

    Russ.
