Yes, the barn had a cement floor. I think the car had only been in that barn about 10 years or so with the amount of dust that had accumulated on it.
Yes. And spread out all the pieces that came with it for a group shot. If you need inspiration for a build, check out Jim Jacob's yellow 3 window.
i'm going to come by on Saturday and check this out, i hope you have enough 34 stuff now and maybe you can leave a little for the rest of us.
Yah, I know what you mean. One of these days I have got to get a 33-34 roadster or touring! Meantime the coupes will do fine....
Don't worry, there are no plans to chop this one. Keep the body stock with a hopped up flathead is what I have in mind.
Some more photos showing the fenders, hood, grille, running boards, bench seat. gas tank cover and bumpers. All of these parts were off the car and store separately when I got them. Most of it is in decent shape, the fenders need some work, but they all do....
This is a rumble seat model, but I will turn it into a trunk and sell the rumble seat stuff to a restorer...
I am green with envy. I don't know why Henry Ford ever made another body style after he made the 33-34 3 window coupe. Every bit about these cars does it for me...they are perfect...full fendered or fenderless...but always unchopped. Congrats on the score.
I can't tell you how excited I am for ya!!! Seeing this thing's details makes me super stoked that everything is there and in great shape!!! I love it!!! I have a rumble seat in my 35 and every time I think it's a pain in the ass I think about my kids eventually going for a spin back there. My 33 has a truck so I guess we're gonna have to squeeze in tight in that one haha!!!
As promised, some more photos....interior shots....most of the floor is there, just need to fix the missing part at the front....
