Hey Crease, not sure if you found a truck yet, or if you were just getting the jonses for one. I found a 1929/30 Chevy P/U today. Body is perfect, no cancer just the typical south Tejas surface rust. Perfect hood (complete),Grill (chrome still looks new),cab and frame. Some of the wood inside the cab still looks good. No joke, it did not all rot away! Email me if you are intrested. I want it, but I have three car projects, and one motorcycle going right now... not enough time and space, not enough time and.......

What the hell...Are you just collecting projects? What's the deal is it in good shape or is a fixer upper like the 33 you just bought?

 

You won't be the fastest kid on the block if you keep collecting projects. Spend the $$$ on making the coupe quicker.

 

Crease would have to spend alot of $$$ to get that chicken coupe moving. Don't encourage him, I got to catch up! He is going to be tost next year....if you just let him spend, spend, spend, on other stuff.

 

I got summoned about 6 mos. ago. No pics yet as it all in a pile. A piece of advise though make sure it has doors. Repops are about $450 each and OEMs are hard to come by.

Yeah, your all probably right. I should be puttin the cash into the car so that I can crush the Sandman. Im gettin this one pretty cheap, it's just a body. Got some other stuff layin around to go on it. I wont be droppin much cash into it until the coupe is "done". Besides, Im helpin out on 2 other car projects that are keepin me busy. Just settin myself up for the next project down the road.

 

You've seen mine but here it is with my father's RPU. Two very different styles.

My dad has one too, but I don't have any pics. Model B banger, original winfield head, down draft carb, shaved fly wheel and a high speed rear end. She really scoots for a banger.
