keep up the great work, always liked those elcamino's

  2. That would be awesome... Im kinda worried about you using the fence wire for your frame. It may too flexible. This is what I use. Its 9ga spring steel and 100" long. http://www.wsusol.com/p-1460-spring-edge-wire-9-ga-100-inch-1-pc.aspx
Did you use 11 ga no sags on the seat back???

  3. Thanks for the concern on the wire frame, I think it will be alright. It is a little thicker material than what I removed and the way this ties together it doesn't span more than a couple inches before it attaches to another piece or a spring. It's like a uniibody structure all tied together.

I'll look at it again to make sure though.

I did get the 11ga no sag spring roll, I am planning on using it for the back and the bottom.

  4. just thinking out loud... one thing I used to do was use a piece of auto jute carpet padding on the seat frame after the burlap. It really helps to beef up the foundation and make it more comfortable.

  5. And finally a quick scuff and shoot of Base Coat to make it all one color.

    No body work done yet.

The Best part for me was getting my Wife to paint the hood, not bad for her first time with a paint gun in her hand.

I still need to find some 2 1/2" clips for the trim, several broke when I pulled it off.

I replaced the brake booster and a couple other parts showed up in the mail, I'm almost ready to head to the HAMB Drags.

  6. And I need to put the scallops back on... can't forget the scallops.

  9. Andrew She is itching to get some stamps in her passport, that would be a fun trip.
Unfourtunatley I will be bringing the Model A to Cheaterama so you won't get to see her handiwork in person. Unless of course you fly into Chicago then you can just drive the Aquamino to Cheaterama and see it from inside.

  10. Looks great.
    Nice work.
Looks like the Mrs. has a future with the spray gun.
