White walls, or no white walls...

...That is the question. I know the last thing anyone wants is another "Hey guys build my car for me" threads, but I've been lying awake at night thinking about this. I'm definitely going with chrome smoothie wheels (I'm to cheap for chrome reverse) but I can't decide on white walls or not. Whaddya think?

 

Black walls.

 

If you leave that stance keep the blackwalls,

If you're up for dropping the rear keep the whitewalls,

If you get a bigger picture, I may change my mind on both of these opinions. Right now I see a raisin with scallops.

Due to the stance, and also the graphics, your '56 looks more like a street machine than a custom or cruiser, so I say blackwalls.

 

I'm with you. There seems to be some conflicting "styles" going on there. It's got a street machine/rod stance and wheels, with a semi custom paint job. It looks a little confused. Throwing more randomness at it isn't going to help sort that out. Making the leap to whitewalls would take a change in wheels, and stance to look right, in my opinion.

 

Trade for a two door. Just kidding.

 

As mentioned previously, I'd stick with black walls...WITHOUT the white lettering! It'll fit the "street machine" look it seems to portray.
If you send me a pic, I can easily photoshop (or find someone who can) the white walls on your car. You'll get a visual without laying down $$$ to find out, if you like it or not!!

I'd go with some black steelies if I was doing white walls. If you're doing smoothies stick to the skinny whites because wide whites don't look right on chrome. Not to be an ***, but anything would be an improvement over the current situation, white letter tires dont look good on ANYTHING, EVER in my opinion.
