[QUOTE=XOFMOT; Definetly will be channeled but it may be put on a new frame. The frame is solid but not sure if it will handle a BBC.
came with the original wood spoke wheels in awesome condition.

All glass there (rear quarter glass cracked)
Came with all 4 fenders (need work but not that bad)

NO rust thru!! The rear inner wheel well has a bit but that's it!

All doors open and latch perfectly.

Actually when you close the door it sounds more solid than the 2012

Why not chop it? Bbc and a channel is not reversable? Just curious. Keep on rolling.

Oh, someday it may get chopped...Just going a different route this round...

Here's a pic of my last one I built two years ago:

Ol' Nuber One as I call her!

3" Channel and a 6.5" Chop....Looked awesome. Just want to do one unchopped, slightly higher and shorter this time around!

Got it in my system last night that it was time to seperate the body from the chassis!! Now, I'm the only one around for this project so I had so thinking to do first!! LOL

First thing I did was to remove the 10 body bolts. EVERY ONE came undone!!! I never sprayed them down with anything!! Put a wrench on one side and impact gun on the other and ZING! they unthresed and fell right out!!! 84 year old bolts!!! I was amazed!!

Once I got the bolts out, I placed a strap arounf the Cowl and the rear body.

Lifted the front up as I as I could in my garage, placed some tubing under the cowl area and supported it with some jack stands...Went to the rear and lifted that up high enough to clear the chassis....rolled the frame out from under, lowered body to ground (put on a couple movers dollys), Done!! 2.5 hours!

    Getting ready to pull body

    Up she goes!

    Sliding the chassis out
    [IMG]

    Look MA! no chassis!

Sitting on a couple movers dollys for now. Will make it eaisier to work on the roof wood rot!

Sooo...next on the list isto figure out the ride height I want and wheel base. I want the wheel base as close to original as possible. Ride height won't be as low as my last one. Then off to get some steel and start building the new frame!
