Thanks very much to Shrappy for letting me use his stands. I had to modify them slightly by adding a building block on the base and filing them with the pebbles I have around the 'Dry lake bed', then covered with a lovely new sack! But I must say the colors are really working! It all looks very old skool! Even the mirror I placed under the car and hid the crappy edges with more pebbles!

We had judging today with 5 different groups of judges coming through at different times. If they couldn't see things they couldn't mark them, hence I had everything that could open. They finally finished at about 4pm so i could put they hood back on and come home. I don't really want the hood off for tomorrow when the public come through, as the lines of the car look much better with the hood on.

We got kicked out today while the press went through and tok lots of pictures and film of all the cars. Unfortunately I had the hood off for judging while they were there.....never mind! Fussy bloody show rodder eh?

That's a hard one;they fit in with the Black/grey contrast. I wonder if they would be invisible if they were grey?
    Interesting subject.
    Brilliant car!!!

Cheers man! I have enjoyed putting together all the pictures and posting them here. It has been an easy way of sharing my sickness with my workmates as well as you lot!

There was some very nice cars in my class but a very diverse range, I did not envy the job of the judges at all.

I hope to as soon as time, money and my home work load dictates.

Thanks guys, I will keep you all up to date as much as possible.

Cheers Shrappy! I did have trouble getting the grin off my dial for some days after.
Those stands were perfect, but a little light, so I put a hollow buiding block over the base and filled them with lime chip, then dropped them into a sack!

Thanks for that. I went over and checked it out too.

    Thanks Leo.
