barn find 33 ford 5wdw coupe..... they're still out there !

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by HOLLYWQQD, Jul 29, 2012.

  1. just scored a 33 5 wdw project ...... a buddy of mine told me about this car last week and i haven't been able to sleep since . i was told a certain price would buy it and it was something i could afford so of course i'm all worked up . i ended up paying 50% more than i had planned (and more than i could afford)for it , but it is now mine !!! . it has an old drilled and dropped axle in it and drilled unsplit bones that were done in the 50's by the man i got it from. original motor ,rear end, and trans. door panels and seat are in it and in decent shape . other than the almost unbearable smell of cat and mouse piss that permeates out of it i couldn't be happier with the deal !!!

here are a couple pics .

    gotta love 33-34's.

  8. the barn was actually a makeshift shed, built out of pallets and barn boards and roof tin etc.etc. barn find sounds better than pallet and scrap steel pile find !! ha ha !!

  9. ha ha ......its actually very solid , floors etc super solid the driver side rocker and the hood and grill are the worst of it !! there really is no pitting to speak of in the body anywhere . it has the original seat and door panels in it and they are still intact and other than the smell could be used !! its not the find of the century but a damn nice start to a killer hot rod !!!

i took a deposit on the roadster so depending on how much money i need to throw in a couple directions i may be calling you on that little doodle rod if all goes well with the sale !!

  10. nope........ what you see is all i got !!!

Too bad you didn't get it before Gene's class, we could have given it a nice hair cut.
