Nice suprise for Mrs. Wizzard at the Leadsleds

    My wife was presented the Felsen Memorial Award at the KKOA Leadsled Spectacular Sunday . Holly Felsen Welch gave this award to Louise's 50 Chevy as the car her Dad would of most likely had in his driveway. Anyone not familiar with Henry Gregory Felsen should do a search here on the HAMB . He authered several novels in the mid 50's to the mid 60's geared toward teenagers and Hot Rods. Holly is a wonderful peron who is also on the HAMB. We were very suprised and honored. Thanks Holly.

    I just sent Holly one of her Dad's books she didn't have,,"Road Rocket"

    Not every day you get a request by the authors daughter for a N.O.S. book written by her dad. . HRP

    The only 2 original Felsens I have are garage sale specials. When I told Holly that, she said thats all she had too! Good on ya for sending her that book.

    I'm embar***ed that I got Henry's name wrong on this thread. It's Henry Gregor Felsen. Look him up, I think you'll like what you see.

    Thats cool! I read his books when i was in school. They are some excelent stories!
