    Joel,
    I agree.
I sent you the website address via PM, so you can see where I got these from.
These old photos from the people that actually shot them are gifts. These old, historic shots are posted for others to enjoy.
It really is shameful to blur out someone's name from a photo especially when that same guy who's name is blurred or cut off is doing nothing more than sharing.
Joel, You haven't "lived" until you have had your name removed and had someone else put their name at the bottom of YOUR photo.
    Yeah, that's happened to me.
All my HAMB photos don't have my name on them, but on other sites, sometimes I do add my name to the extreme bottom.
Yeah...nothing like seeing someone else's name on your own photo to really make you want to strangler someone.
I had one guy on here that wanted me to send him a hi-rez version of a vintage photo from 1962...he PMed me saying:
"I teach PhotoShop....it would be a perfect photo to use to show my students how make certain adjustments".
Yeah, this one photo is somehow better than a few million other photos that could be used? I had some choice words for this "teacher".

Anyone still have their paperback copies of Hot Rod Engine Construction and Hot Rod Chassis Construction?
This Willys is the featured gasser detailed in the Chassis book.
I do not know how to scan the little book to post that chapter here.

Mazooma, I'd pay your admission for both us if there were a way back there. Great photo's though. Tom S. in Tn.

That's got to be it. Look how the body is set back on the frame. I've seen Texas rule mis-interpretation cars before, but this left coast car goes beyond rule bending, this is more akin to a funny car than something built to run modified or comp! Tom S.

The "Left Coast" AA/GS circuit racers had little regard for what the NHRA considered as being a legal blown gasser. The weekly open shows provided ample heads up racing and pay outs that drwarfed what was being offered in comp elim events. The mid west UDRA featured similar sentiments amongst its members.
