Mr Knotttty please go to your local Coke machine with a large axe to claim your free soda. In retrospect probably slightly, however this was a side view which exaggerates the danger (the load would not have hit him at this point if it cut)
Dude!! First why are you trying to put that nice flatty into your tractor? It seems to have a very serviceable motor in it already and the flathead would work much better in your coupe. Either way that big red thing with the wheels is just a stand to hold the motor while your working on it, you have to take it off before you install the engine. Good to see the engine all together and ready to go, good luck with the rest of the build, looking forward to watching. Scott
Started polishing the heads... Taping off was laborious but fun too! I like to use green tape and a trusty hammer...
Nice sharp tape edges with this technique... I also used an exacto knife where the hammer wouldn't fit.
Close up of the fins being polished... Had to be careful to not move too much material... As it will not look right!
