Hey guys been thinking bout buyin this off of a guy and wanted to see what a fair price would be to pay. Just a body frame and rear end
looks like the passenger side door is there , i assume no drivers door and no decklid. i say it's still worth a couple grand. how much does he want?
Buy it for $500, sell it to me for $1,000 and i'll come get it. Not joking, pm me if you want to do that.
I bought one like that last year. Had both doors, all garnish and deck lid. I gave $4500 and I thought I got a good deal
I was going to say the same thing, while I would like to get it cheaper than that myself it is a very realistic price these days.
There was one on Craigslist down here had doors and fenders no frontend or rear and looked like it had been dropped on its roof. He was asking like 2,700. Have not seen it on there in a week or so. But that looks tons better even without the fenders. I would like it I know where a 35 fordor is that is sitting on it roof but the rest is good.
My guess is it's a '36. I don't think the '35 s had the X in the cowl. I'd say grab it. Worry about the stuff you're missing later. Nice, somewhat rare body style for that kind of money. If that's its engine sitting next to it, there may be more of it laying around.
Anyways I went back to look at this ol girl and the one side is extremely rough. Believe those are the fenders for it in the one pic. The rust is a bit much for me so I believe I will sell it. Let me know what ya guys think
the floor looks surprisingly solid and you have one door that could be fixed. i think it is a `35 by the forward door release handle. have you priced 35/36 3-window doors lately? it's better than what i started with. well worth the $500....if i was selling it i'd be asking a lot more
Worth $500 for sure, there's what looks like a 4-door back half in the background-there may be more parts... that 4-door section might give you or who you sell it to some pieces to fix it-I'd try to get that as well.
In the fifth pic that pipe is holding the roof up from caving I it's so rusty on that whole side. Story is it was laid on its side for years but it's not so much beat up as it is rusty. I do understand that rare bodies like this are always worth something
Haha that was my same reaction when the guy said "did you see the other side? It's bad" and he is a body man lol
absolutely for $500, no matter what, your going to make some money on it one way or another. all it needs is a little love..
