Damn, that's amazing. It looks like a time capsule from the mid-1930s!

that's my goal. absolutely NO concessions to anything beyond 1939. unless maybe i find a smoking deal on a Mitchell overdrive. I might cave in to that.

Mine is a rust and Bondo sculpture with an improperly butchered A frame (not by me). Original body looks like glass now (crap!) Hey, it was my first try and I do like the proportions...!

Zach, that's gonna be such a cool car!

CRH, what's going on with the gap between the body and frame?

I love '23-'25 turtledeck roadsters. Good thing that Henry built zillions of them; at one time they were dime-a-dozen enough that guys used them for throwaway track roadsters. Luckily a few still survive, and guys with a taste for tradition make cool street roadsters out of them.

Stacy and her bitchin T in Austin Nevada Thursday at Jerry Foreman's BBQ. I did not call her the "B" word. She is a great gal that "gets it"

Gary was there too taking a lot of flack for wimpin out and driving his 46 sedan.

Guess I was the biggest wimp of all. I rode up in my brotherinlaws new car.

Umm....uhhh..... Fine, I admit it! My car is a piece.
When I got this body and frame, it appeared that a previous owner had trashed the frame and body with scary welds and poor planning. With no money and no hot rod experience I decided to try and salvage this heap, setting up the wishbones, steering, motor, lines and most importantly, proportions. But I didn't quite account for the gaping hole between body and frame when you crouch down to knee level... Oops!

Some great looking cars, I love this thread!.

Mine is still a work in progress. '32 chassis, I dropped the front axle three and a half inches, I dropped the rear of the chassis by four inches by re-shaping the original metal to get a lower stance with a sort of stock look...

Here in the UK T bodies are not too common and after looking around and finding only rust I decided to make my own.

One side of the turtle deck...

The firewall and subframe for the cowl...

and here is the cowl skin...

Still got a long way to go...
