    huh oh alright. I made some money but had to wait to work on my '55 again because my roof sprung a leak.

    SAY ROB DID KEV ALSO FABRICATE THE FRONT RAILS TOO. LOOKS LIKE THE SHACKLES ARE THRU THE RAILS ON FRONT SIDE?.... YEAH I HAVE A ONE INCH LOWER BLOCK ON THE NOMAD . SOME ANGLES LOOKS GOOD SOME DAYS LOOKS BETTER WITH A LIL AIR IN BETWEEN THE TIRES TOO :rolleyes:

    Yes Kev put the shackles through the frame rails that he fab'ed. I think mine sits too low as it is.

    Nice 55 sedan, I sold Rocky the Nomad years ago still miss it. Sure do like 55 chevys.

    Love the front end instal, can I get some recommendations for new front end kits for my 55. I want to run a power R&P under my Big Block and fender well headers. I am an FNG on here so give it to me guys!

    Hey Jake, I'd say no on the R+P. I used a Speedway axle kit.

    X2, Rack n pinions and straight axles do not go together. You can buy a kit from Speedway or build your own. Either way there is enough help here to get you through an axle project.

    No I sold the Corvette to put a roof on my house. Waiting to get paid back by the ins. co. to finish the G***er. I'll be in my '66 Biscayne. BB 4spd.

    Im stupid bit gotta ask. Is there a reason to cut the frame or could the frontend be removed and a straight axel be put on a stock frame. Everyone I see they go that route. It looks really clean thats a bad*** double nickle.
