Recent picture update, open link: The B-25 my uncle was in is pictured here on it's side just before it crashed. I got this from the local paper in Elmira NY!!! They had all of the local articles. The P-47 crash has already occured and the smoke from it's impact can be seen it the background...

 

I still love seeing old pictures of the ol' "YANK" publication. It never fails to make me smile knowing that someone in the government - in spite of the war - had the good-humour to name it that and include the pin-ups!

No, Muntz Jet had a rear seat. This would be a Kurtis. Muntz evolved from this design.

 

Kurtis Cad from what I remember. I ran most of those Winfield High pics, with permission, on my web site about 10 years ago. Real good to see them again, though.

Both of them dressed to the nines, she trying to instill in her child all the class she can muster. I would be honored to have known her.
