took a bunch of photos, towards the end as my battery got low they started coming out randomly shitty, so if some look funny that is why. some were dark, some were light. did a quicky adjustment so they were presentable.:(:confused:

photobucket is giving me grief most likely caused by my poor ATT internet. I am out at the end ot the road I guess, I have the slowest DSL possible. I'm going to see if beer will help. I may or may not be back

I was really suprised this year after having stayed away for a number of years. Lots and lots of good iron. But the Vette, Oh the Vette!

    Thanks,

That LeSalle owned by Brian Nieri in the 4th picture is so awesome. I'd love to see it in person someday

I went Friday. I saw about 40 or so really nice, more traditional style built hot rods, but i avoided taking to many pictures of those cars. I dont understand why a guy spends a bunch of dollars building a really nice car and then kills it by installing a 350, or a 350 dressed up to look like a 283. There is still plenty of early motors out there to build !!

I'm kind of thinking most people don't care whether some stranger on the internet likes thier motor or not.

I like that 23" T. Kinda makes me wanna build something small like that, really get the feeling of a "GoKart" on steroids vibe!

  22. Great pics, it was my first time at Pleasanton and we were lucky to have Andy Brizios 32 for Hot Rod Week and P-Town.

I really loved seeing that T roadster, Mike Smiths 32 four door and Pat Ganahls 32

Lots of cool cars there. I especially like those with small block Chevy engines!

  25. This show looks like it was a good time with some nice cars. Its nice to see a show about cars and not about "kulture". Thanks for posting.

anybody know the story on this one? old beater 32 with an Ardun. had a brass timing tag on the dash from the 70's. don't remember the speed or where it was.

a friend and I were discussing that as a nice unchopped full fendered Model A sedan drove by. he's a 55 chevy guy and doesn't do "kulture". sometimes i don't blame him.

The last time I was there the "Kulture" bunch was all corraled over in one corner.

Great photos 49ratfink, I like your choices for what to show us. Keep them coming even if Photobucket gives you fits like it gives me. I've found that you need the latest versions of Java and Adobe to help it work though.
