I normally study my***** off to do the job at hand and make things look and function like they did when they were new.
Needless to say........... this one threw me for a loop!

I need some ideas on a paint scheme. This thing deserves to look just as good, as it is bad.

    Any ideas?

If it was mine I would do a Waston style panel and scallop job in some nice pearls and metallics!

  5. Only a mile deep black paintjob will do!

Something about it looks funny to me. Paint it some funny colors.

Is that a dirt track racer that replaced the Camaro body with a Big Bird?

Kinda looks like a super modified. What's with the top? it doesn't look like a bird top. Paint it black with a race car vibe.

I haven't had the chance to ride in it much but after looking at the suspension, it's built to run hard and get there QUICK!

The top is the original one. The front lip that holds the chrome trim has been removed.

A Watson style would be cool. It has enough body lines to work around...

It looks like some sort of old dirt tracker. Ford raven black, and if you think it can pull it off, gold numbers on the doors and your name in 1 inch high letters on the roof like a racecar. What kinda motor does it have?

Stance kinda puts me in mind of a short-track asphalt brawler of the early '60s era. Maybe a two-tone, metallic blue or maroon bottom, gold or white top, peroid correct style letter job, a discreet Holman-Moody CP signage along the top of the front fenders...kind of a Tom Pistone job for the Saturday nite short tracks, streetable.

Re-do front fender lips-matching the radius and flare of the rear.
Install hood,-lowest scoop possible as required.
    Jet Black paint (one color).

    I can see the Black

I can also see a Rbt. Williams TJ taxi/race car design where 2 colors are used.

I can also see a super bright Hot Wheels Spectraflame candy

    or a watson panel job

  23. A Watson-style paint job on what looks like a race car? Are you freaking kidding me?

    This should be Photoshopped.

Inspiration should come from whatever race car style it's mimicking. I'm thinking a white base, then ...

    Absolutely!

That's a pretty badass looking car. Something different needs to be done with the tail light treatment. Not sure what though.
