Sorry to hear about Dr. Phil's car, hope he gets it back. I think on his show the guy is a tool! But he may not be anything like that outside of t.v. Maybe a few of you could book some time with Dr. Phil and talk about your issues.

  2. It is really astounding! Every time a famous, wealthy, or successful person is mentioned on here a bunch of douchebags that don't know the person rag on them!

Some of you cynical crybabies should just sit in your rented garages, swilling beer and smoking and complaining to your like minded buddies how life isn't fair, instead of trashtalking successful people!

It is too bad that a person cannot take his car to be repaired without some ******s smashing up a guy's business to steal it! I hope they catch them!

Don't talk bad about Volvo's (!) and Dr. Phil! It's still a car and a carguy. If you have issues with Volvo you might need to talk to Dr. Phil.

With that out of the Way:
You schall never mess with another mans; Wife, Kids or CARs!!! For that you deserves a *** whopping, prison-style!

I don't like seeing Dr. Phil, but that just me. I dislike the show so much, I rather do the dishes, but no need to attack a car guy, who is w/o his car!!!

Naw, what this illustrates is how jealous some people are of success that they would wish ill feelings on someone.
Total BS for anyone to not support another guy when he gets his ride stolen. I don't care who it is.

I cant believe all the haters on here, What a bunch of douche bags. So what does it matter if he does not work on his car his self. 50% of the people here don't. So your hating cause he made something of him self and your still working at Kmart... I hope he gets his car back...

What I have learned from this thread:

If you are poor with a nice car, you are super cool.

If you are rich with a nice car, you are to be destroyed.

Lots of cars get stolen all the time, but for some reason since it's "Dr." Phil's it's news and I'm supposed to give a ****? I think not!

Really? Theives ****, and I'm not real particular on judging their victims.
The Dr. has 'kin' on this website, so stick a wrench in your pie-hole, if you can't help.
The guy lost a prized car, try his shoes on, in this case.

  11. Hope he gets it back. It's a lot better off in his hands than some miserable car theif's.

No, what it shows is this countries going down the tubes with celebrity worship. If my 56 Chevy truck, which I've spent thousands of hours and dollars getting right, gets stolen no one care's except for me and my family (and fellow HAMBERS). But if Dr. Phil's 57 Chevy, who probably just wrote a check to get it, gets stolen it's broadcast on the nightly news. And why? Because his ugly mug is plastered all over the idiot box telling people how to live.

  15. Alot of Dr.Phil nutswinging going on here.It ****s that his car was stolen and I hope he gets it back but this **** sounds like some TMZ message board here.I wonder if Dr.Phil will do a whole show dedicated to people who have had their cars stolen since he will be so touched by all the comp***ion on this Traditional Hotrod and Custom Message Board.

Theives are the biggest piles of **** on this earth and I think they should be hung but that wont ever happen.Lo Jack is the best way to fight it and I think the Doc can afford it.Hope he get's it back but this thread has been front page news twice as long as any traditional custom thread has been in ages.Celebrity just pulls a whole lot more rank then history.

Some of you guys sound like a bunch of old women watching a soap opera.

  17. Yep, that about sums it up. The same guys who bash the successful people are the ones who talk about all the *****in' cars they would have if they won the Lottery.

Bashing the successful........sounds like the same ideology from someone that currently resides in the White House.

  19. OK I am bummed, I can't post a thing.

  20. Some of you guys are so quick to judge...

And some of your statements are borderline un-American.

The guy grew up in Oaklahoma and Texas and his dad worked the oilfields...

Very similar to my dad, and family... only Phil was good at Football and that helped him get a scholarship and a good education

I doubt he had the money to afford a '57 Chevy as a kid... so why bust his balls for living the American Dream and having one now?

    My thoughts exactly.
Have some of you guys attended any of the "Occupy" protests? :D

  26. I looked at the link thinking it was something pertinent to the topic. Instead it was garbage gossip!
Maybe everyone here should fill out a score card so that we can find out who is worthy!
Remember the other victim in this theft. The poor shop owner has a damaged building and a giant headache to deal with. He won't get paid for all the lost time messing with this, instead of working on cars. And who knows how much his insurance will cover. Should we look into his background to see if we should feel sorry for him?

Already in a shipping container headed to the far east.... I'm sorry for his loss but I would have screened the shop a little better at least....
