Post #57, 5th or last photo. This is the Davalos garage on E. Central Ave. in Albuquerque. The pickup had a mean flathead, and I remember Bobby Davalos saying it took him only 30 minutes to go from Santa Fe to Albuquerque. This time included stopping to reattach one of the coil wires (it had a dual coil ignition). The drag car in front was named the "Iron Brogan" because it looked like one of the military boots the air force issued. Bobby was in the AF. I also remember the 55 Ford. The Davalos garage was a hang-out for all the rodders in Albuquerque. We, from Santa Fe would visit. Bobby had a louver punching machine. $1 per louver. We all had to have our hoods punched. Thanks a lot for sharing this photo.
