Less then 2 months away!!! I need your guy's help spreading the word!! This run grows every year, if you are in the area and have a flathead powered car/truck/motorcycle....you NEED to be there!

Well my HD 45 is still buried in hemi parts and my '65 daily is out, but my old man just cut a deal on a 47 merc so we might be in!!! Anyway it's sat for 15 years so he needs to brush off the cobwebs and give it a tune and some good shakedows(and get rid of the godawful radials) and we might just make it as a late entry

OK, new to the board and this event. I have a Model T speedster that started life as a flathead but I added a Fronty overhead to the T motor. Would I be welcome at this "flathead only" event? If so, is there a gathering place and time for those of us on the wet side?

Oh so now we aren't welcome eh? :(

Kidding. Doubt I'll be down this year, it'd be nice, but I'll aim for next year if I can keep ahold of this shoebox that long ;)

Yes, overhead conversions are more then welcome as long as the block and such is still flathead....would LOVE to see some overhead conversions!

A lot of West side guys meet at AMOCAT but do not know their plans for this year...

Well i'm back out, my old man didnt buy the sure thing '47 merc(retirement vs a car issues...) and my HD '45 is still buried under even more hemi early olds and 283 parts, so unless my briggs-n-statton can make it i'm out again...:(

We had a little meeting last night and this year is sounding great! We are hoping for the biggest turnout yet. Jeff Allison is working on the T shirt and poster art as we speak, something great to honor our pal Terry and our love for all things flathead!

Well if they don't have a flathead powered car or one with an engine block that was a flathead before some interesting conversion was added they can park way out in the cheap seats beside the white Dodge mini van. I might say to hell with it and load my flathead up in the back of the truck and take it along for show and tell.

I did get a clutch cable in the mail for my flathead 1 cylinder 70CC bicycle though so I might take it.

Hey Doug, I may be heading over in my OT car... I don't have anything flathead powered... Well maybe I could fool The Inland Emperors(take the 35), with some of those neat flathead style valve covers they make for OHV engines.. what ya think...
I really want to make the drive in honor of Terry for sure !

Just thought I would pop this picture up for you guys. I think it is fitting. I wish I could make it up for the run but Bonnevile busted my budget for awhile. Thanks for the tribute to my dad. I will be there in spirit for sure. You guys rule!
