Hey guys , just thought I would post some pics of my 32 Ford roadster project . I sold off a bunch of stuff to get all the parts needed . I just picked the 32 body up yesterday down in CT....thanks Greg , the rolling chassis came out of Needham ,Ma , the engine is a 1934 four banger thats pushing around 80hp , I have all the specs if anyone needs them . The original engine was said to have bad babbit bearings but come to find out it was the windage tray...it came loose and was hitting the con rods . So I have a good spare 32 engine . I'm not use to building stuff this nice , so its kind of a shock to me <TABLE class="cf hr" cellPadding=0><TBODY><TR><TD class=hw></TD><TD>20110412161221</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
Is the body steel or fiberglass? Looks like steel. I see it now. I don't like 4 cylinders, no power to get into traffic or out of traffic. " Real hot rods don't have fenders "
Engine has full flow oil presure ,big chevy intake valves ,counter balenced crank , 3/4 cam ,lots of port work , 6.1 winfield head , I have a 2 pot intake that's going on with strombergs 97s and a wico gem magneto . This little four has over 80hp and should move the 32 pretty dam good . Its a light engine ,me and my old man picked it up out of the truck and set it on the stand .
It looks killer, Nils! Nice to meet you at Eli's. P.S. I bought that mysterious roadster body that day...
I saw it out in the field . It's not bad man , very buildable . I wish people would knock on my door with that type of stuff .
