Hello, been of here for a while but I still has been working in the shop with the ´32.
Mostly have worked on the chassis to get it ready for the road , not much to see.
Anyway here is a pic of the taillight bezel I made for the ´32 .
    The lens is pontiac ´50.
They will be painted later on in a dark grey color.

Your build is looking great Martin. I've been doing a bit here and there on mine.
I would like to back up on your build and ask more about your column drop.
Specifically about the structure under the cowl.
It looks like you have some 1/4 inch plate in there?
WTF? Maybe it's not as thick as it looks in the pic or ??
The piece that come down from under the cowl is what I'm speaking of.

Can you post a couple more pics of what you built under there?
    Thanks!

There is a bent tube in top were the "structure is welded" Its made out of 5mm steel (a little less then a 1/4 "). maybe a little to much but i feelt thats its better then beeing to weak ;)
    pic´s are on its way.
edit : the rounded edge on the right side is clearence for the left hand gauge.

As i´m a little odd and don´t want a car thats sounds so much i had a idea of getting internal mufflers in the end of the exhaust system.
Found a company that had stainless "holetubes" and then i did the ends in the lathe.
My plan is to get them to stay in place with small tabs and 2 springs.

    Thanks for the reply Martin.
Are these the mufflers then? Or will it have regular mufflers as well?

The system does have a pair of small mufflers in the middle and I have no idea of how much they will reduce the noice. Bought them from speedway.
The new once's in the back is easaly removed in case they produce to much backpreassure or even if it turns out that the sound gets to "boring"

Love how you Scandanavians do not think twice about building anything . . . mufflers, cross members, drive & steering shafts, you name it. Cool.

Well.... I just spent the last hour stunned. This is BY FAR the best build transformation I've ever seen on the Hamb, or anywhere else for that matter. I can't believe I've missed this build til now...

You can bet I won't miss the rest of it. Outstanding work, genius planning, and unbelievable craftsmanship.

I don't even have to say it, but keep up the good work.
