Hey Steve you can come over here, we let all kinds of them furreners in here. I have to warn you though, seeing as you despise winter, it gets cold here too. Hell, last winter it got all the way down to 57 degrees! I was freezing! Almost had to put shoes on!:D

Makes sense...you only work on it in the winter, and it's a couple days after Labor Day...lol. Actually Steve, seeing the work you do on Rusty is probably the only thing about winter that I look forward to. :)

C'mon winter! (Can't believe I just said that.)

Thanks Ricky ! Its the ONLY thing I can say I like about winter is that I get alot of shop tiime in, but I gotta lot of "outside" stuff to do...finish rad install, brace and remove front clip, blast it in and out, remove the body ,blast and finish the underside of the body....then finish up frame welding and paint it....gonna try and get that done before xmas  wish me luck!!

Thanks Burnout!! The junk I build is real low buck which means lots of labour ..lol...lots  . I try to build them solid clean and simple, the rest can get done later they are more fun to drive when they are kinda beaterish like most of my stuff ends up. Once I start driving a project I am already thinking about something other project I really dont have the time or money for lol!!

I'm not too sure "beaterish" is a word that would apply to your work but totally get the point. looking forward to your progress as we fade to white we call winter. as far as the lots of labor, we need something to do when it is too cold for much else.

I already have a 1951 263 in quite good shape.
I just need a bellhousing, but a guy sells a complete 248 here for 150$.
Well ... Just have to pick it up, it s about 5 or 6 hours from Montreal.
Cheaper than the shipping from CA, those beasts are heavy :)
I barelly can move the naked block engine alone, it s about 190 lbs.

Lol Thanks Zibo! I think thats why I like your builds so much ...I got a lead on whats supposed to be a very useable 37 coupe chassis for my someday 36 project, and another really crappy one that I think I could fix, I will get some pics up soon I posted a few on facebook with my phone....

Go get it!! If you wait it will disappear !!

Been gettin a few things done, finally finished the Dodge, got it inspected so its 47 time again...decided to get the doors cleaned up and some epoxy on them ,they had alot of surface rust and pitting so I scrubbed the shit outta them with some phosphoric prep, then blast, then sanded them ,another good scrubbing then epoxy...should keep the rust away till long after I am gone lol !

Just before primer, fixed a few pinholes in a weld seem the showed up during blasting..

Picked up some old 283 valve covers to try and make the 305 look a little older, I also have a filler spout spread bore intake and a Caddy airbreather as well for it.

also blasted and primed the box/pump I am gonna use...
