Saturday, October 20th (RACE DAY) Beer will be provided by fire company. No outside beverages permitted please. We will beat you down.

I'm a bit late to this thread, but I just read the whole thing, and I gotta say,.. I'm getting a real good feeling about this event, I think it's gonna be amazing. It's exactly what we need more of. I'd love to come out to the "other" coast and participate, but I'm not sure if it's possible this year. We'll see....

So I haven't been refreshing this post lately as there was a doubt in my mind. I was secretly freaking out. We were waiting for an official word from the mayors, they had said it all looked good and likely, but needed one more thing. They kept me hanging on saying tomorrow, no, in a few days, no, next week. It turned into weeks. Explain later, gotta get to work.

Its official.... Lets get it on!!!!! Now, I got lots of work to do.

 

At this point I think if they said no, it would still be on!! hahaha
