Dog427, yet again, you are awesome, man! This one's
unusual. Anybody know what that grille shell is telling us?

 Damn! Sometimes, it takes a while, but all you have to do is ask the ol' HAMB, and eventually some knowledgable car person will surface! THX, Merricks!

THANKS, Ron! I've always been pretty shakey on those "Hash" models of '55 and '56. Who knows? One of the last 308 Hornets could be under that hood!

  3. Oh yeah, gotta love them "Kenosha Kadillacs"! I still remember when George Romney (Mitt's dad) was guv and us kids heard he was going to visit our small town. We all were waiting for him on Main Street then we saw his small motorcade approaching - he was riding in a Rambler Ambassador! Made perfect sense, since he had been GM of AMC prior to becoming Michigan governor in about '62.

Wow, Gary! I almost cruised right by this one! Gotta be a '56 contraption, but it doesn't definitely say U.S. to me. Can it be Australian? I see DeSoto, Dodge and Plymouth elements. Also, it's not really a station wagon, nor is it a hearse. Ausie ambulance?

Maybe they all moved to the Northeast! My grandson always picks up at least 6 in the first 10 minutes he comes to my house :)

Maybe they moved to the northeast because of all the nuke testing out west. ;) My grandson picks up at least 6 in the first 10 minutes that he's at my house. :)

There has been no evidence that DDT is harmful to human health. It is still in use in other parts of the world to combat malaria.

We used to use treated shelf lining paper in the kitchen of our second home in the desert where ants and flies were a constant problem. It worked!

  30. There have been studies linking DDT and DDE with Diabetes for one...
