We all dream of owning a real Willys but only a few lucky souls can afford a steel Willys coupe but this build gives hope to those with skill but short on funds. Thanks for giving us hope now all I need is luck !

When I picked up willys parts the other day some of it blew off my truck on the 10 freeway. I heard a clunk in the back and knew i lost it but wasn't sure if it hit anything as i couldn't see because the truck was loaded. So I decided to step up to the plate and called the Highway patrol to see if there were any reports. Most people wouldn't have done that and I guess I'm not sure if I should have. Thankfully no one was hurt but it did land on a new mini cooper and crack the windshield and scratch the hood. I'm sure it'll cost me but I won't have to look over my shoulder constantly.

    All for the Willys

Are you going to put a Hemi in it? Please consider it. A Willys ain't a Willys w/o a Hemi. Keep up the good work. You give people like me hope. Best of luck...jack

Thats looking great. Consider doing an early custom. Not many custom Willys around. And like you said everyone does a "gasser" out of Willys.

I would love to do a custom and i'm sure there is one in my future but I'm a drag racer at heart so this will be a FAST car. Plus willys just don't look good any other way, they're kinda ugly to be honest.

I hear you, but they're only kinda ugly in the front. Yours has the "Dick" nose which is kinda cool I guess. It could be a FAST early custom....

I have to say Lee is an AMAZING metal man! This car wouldn't have been built without him.

Now if I could just find a pair of skinny halibrands life would feel complete, for now.
