I can make jokes like that, but I can't "get" them :)

  4. Yep Chet was pre Mondelo. I think I will give it a fancy name though like ***an Rocket or something so that people think it was part of the space program. :D

  5. Ah yes! ^ ^ ^ These are cl***ics and translated perfectly to print on the internet! :D

Ya ever squint and look at an old 50's Hudson? Sorta like a 49-51 Merc or one of them Tucker things. A Hudson was one hell of a race car, straight line or roundy round. They were ALL stock cars.
I'm sure if a guy really wants an old Hudson engine he can get it along with the rest of the Hudson for $1500.
I remember a Chet Smith and I remember Nicole.

I think $1500 is a STEAL! Of course this is coming from someone that bought the Brooklyn Bridge six times.

Boat anchor? The Hudson hornet with the Twin-H 308 dominated Nascar and other stock car series in the early 50's.

Today, the Hudson Boys have set lots of records at Bonneville with their modified 308.

Pretty tough and powerful 6 cylinder!

  11. National ***ociation of STOCK CAR Racing used to mean racing stock cars. in Hudsons case they offered the Rocky Mountain model which included a high compression aluminum head. to make more power at high al***ude HAHA

I think with all the different races truck and car. I think it would be cool to have a show room stock cl***. instead of restriction and making everything generic. and let the chips fall where they may

  12. really the 308 ci six had good torque but what made hudsons compe***ive was the step down frames low center of gravity and the front wheels were wide spaced while the rear end was narrow. the same as modern dragsters

  13. note casting pad on left of block around the #2 cylinder right at the top edge of the block, this is where the serial nos were stamped into 55-56 his theory it was a stock car motor is out the window there. plus they had studs through the heads not bolts. the intake shown is a 52-54 as shown by the balance tube ports in the side that 55-56 didnt get due to lack of space between the nash towers. this guy has a pile of **** that he must of paid top dollar for somewhere else along the line, realised hes been had and trying hard to unload onto a new ****er.

So why doesn't some one email the dude and get the skinny on it instead of this m*** speculation?

For a group of grown men some of you guys will certainly jump on a band wagon with out taking the time to do a little fact finding...
